Good prompts vs bad prompts

The more specific your prompt, the better the result. Compare:

❌ "Make me a website"

✅ "Build a landing page for a fitness coaching business. Include a hero with a strong headline, a 3-column features section, pricing plans, testimonials, and a contact form. Use dark blue and white colors."

Tips for better prompts

  1. Be specific about the industry — "fitness coaching" not just "a business"
  2. List the sections you want — hero, features, pricing, testimonials, contact
  3. Mention colors and style — "minimalist, dark blue and white"
  4. Specify the content tone — "professional and trustworthy" or "fun and playful"
  5. Include real content — business name, services, pricing numbers

Editing prompts

After the AI generates your site, you can refine it with follow-up messages. Examples:

  • "Change the hero background to a gradient"
  • "Make the pricing section 3 columns instead of 2"
  • "Add a FAQ section before the footer"
